On September 1st, 2004 Educated Angler was publicly launched.  Educated Angler is the first of a series of "grass roots" online communties delivering a place for like-minded individuals to gather and share information.  EO Mediaworks constructed this portal using open source tools to reduce the monetary exposure of developing a fully functional online web presence.  Leveraging open-source allows Educated Angler to maintain a free membership that can be economically offset by low-cost advertising and sponsorship programs.
